Club Member since 1956, but offering to sell raffle tickets in 1975 really started it all: Social Committee 1978, Social Secretary 1979-86, Treasurer 1987-2004, Vice-President 1993-2004, President from AGM 2004, Show Manager from AGM 2005.
Breed: Labradors, closely followed by Newfoundlands.
Beginning of show career: Aged 11, with a Pekingese, Too-Loo of Ifield, under Mrs Thelma Gray.
Other interests: Reading, gardening, listening to music, but not modern - Mantovani, Melachrino, James Last.

On Committee 1968-76, Vice President 1977-80, then retired due to ill health and family commitments. 1997-2002, Centenary Committee. Assistant Show Secretary 1998 - 2007; Vice President since 2004.
Breed: Chow Chows in the family since 1936. Has also owned German Shepherd Dogs, a Standard Poodle, and a blue merle Border Collie. Also likes West Highland White Terriers, Airedales . . . and horses!
Beginning of show career: Late 1940s - I just fell into the world of dogs and showing.
Other interests: Carpentry, photography, DIY, gardening. Member of the Elite Racing Club.

Club member for more than thirty years. Began by helping the collecting ring stewards and selling raffle tickets. Match Committee 1983—2001, General Committee 1986—91, Vice President 1992—present, auditor 2000—present.
Breed: Rough Collies - would downsize to a Sheltie or Norfolk Terrier.

Club member since early 80s. Began helping to set up the rings and helping the collecting ring steward.
Breed: Cocker Spaniels.
Beginning of show career: 1980s—bought a Cocker (Brutus) from Phil and the late Elaine Le Sauvage, who encouraged us to show him.
Other interests: Football, boxing, swimming, grandchildren.
